Hadley played in a 3v3 soccer tournament on Saturday. It was local. A few girls from her regular team decided to play and coached themselves. For the most part, they did pretty well. The teams we played were not very good, so even though we hadn't really practiced or learned any of the 3v3 strategies, we won. We made it to the final game where we lost to a group of girls from the other club team. We could've really used a coach for the final. That team knew what they were doing---they played together in the Nationals tournament in Florida last year. We lost 4-2. But it was fun---I really like 3v3. The fields are much smaller and the game is faster and more dependent on skill. You really have to control the ball to score. Who knows. Maybe we'll find a coach and give it another try!
