Soccer Banquet!

We met at a Darci’s house to take a few group pictures. The girls are Audra, Callie, Hadley and Darci. (I don’t know all the boys.)

After taking a few pictures, the parents moved on to the front yard to be on our way. (not all the kids can drive yet.) We talked and waited and the kids weren’t moving. None of us wanted to go back into the backyard to get them. One parent asked if anyone knew how to whistle loudly. ‘Course I do! So, I whistled, not knowing if they would hear me or respond. Guess what? Here they came like a herd of cattle through the gate. Hadley told everyone that the whistle was me and we needed to go. It still works! Ha!

The varsity girls team. At the end of the evening, the senior girls gave the rest of the team funny gifts signifying something during the season. One girl got kool-aid, another got some ketchup, another got some glittered-up shorts, etc. Hadley’s gift was a tiara. They dubbed her the “new” heading queen, as the old one was a senior. All in all, it was a fun night!
