Gotta love those 80’s styles

The Homecoming parade is tonight. Many of the school organizations participate, including the soccer team. The girls soccer team decided on an 80’s themed float. Most of the girls decided to go with colorful leggings, cut sweatshirts and headbands a la Flash Dance or Olivia Newton John and “Let’s Get Physical” style. I recalled that David used to have some bright blue running tights that would be perfect. We started digging and came across some pretty funny stuff. Why oh why do we still have all of this?? The shorts Lance is wearing were David’s faves and are actually from the 80’s---they have the side slit all the way to the waistband and would be super short. (if they still fit, that is!)  What was he thinking?? He threw a few things away, but kept these. They have sentimental value, after all!

The biking jersey isn’t so bad. In fact, Hadley and Lance both really liked it and might borrow it some time.  After some digging, we did find the bright blue tights and I’ll share pictures of her in them later. Guess it’s ok to hang onto some things—you never know when you might need ‘em!
