Welcome!

I love sharing my life with you on this little blog. Thank you for stopping by! I re-size all my pictures for the web, making them unsuitable for print. If you come across a picture that you would like a copy for printing, please just let me know. I'll be glad to send one your way!

Lucky 13

Par-tay! For Lance's birthday party, we invited a few friends to tailgate at the big rivalry game vs. the Rebs. We had face paint and colored hair spray to do it up right. I learned from last year's experience that it might be a good idea to do that part at the game, instead of home. Worked like a charm!

Tyler came home for the celebration---totally making Lance's night.

Hadley's friend, David, went early with our David to help cook and get things set up. What a guy! David borrowed an awesome cooker---inspiration for the one he wants of his own. They cooked bratwurst, hamburgers and hot dogs.

It's been a long time since I've seen a crowd like that for one of our regular season games. It was completely packed--standing room only. 'Course the kids don't mind---the more the merrier. It was the adults that were a bit claustrophobic...

When the disappointing game was over--we lost!--we headed back to our house for cake and a sleepover. Lance had a terrific time. Check off another successful birthday party! :)
