They sounded great! (Except for the trumpeter to Lance’s right who came in TWO WHOLE BEATS early on a song and irritated Lance to no end. Ha! David actually heard the mistake but I was blissfully unaware as I concentrated on getting pictures.) This concert was a practice run for the contest they have in a couple of weeks. It’s always so amazing to this non-musical mom that they can do what they do! Crockett’s band also played and I have to say we sounded a lot better than they did. :)
And finally, Mr. Ellis, the band director. Lance has really enjoyed learning from him. He’s been a very positive influence.

Would love to hear him play again. Maybe we'll be there on concert day again some time!
